What is an electrification coach?
We are electrification coaches who have been certified by Rewiring America. Most of us have been through the process of doing some of these tasks: installing solar panels, obtaining energy audits, insulating our homes, and replacing HVAC systems and appliances. We remember how overwhelming and time-consuming this was, and the lessons we learned that we’d like to pass on.
We can help you:
understand the reasons for electrifying your home, including comfort, safety, resale value, and financial savings, as well as lessening your carbon footprint
identify potential issues
help you develop a custom plan
find resources to identify contractors, many of whom will file the appropriate paperwork for you.
YOU will then select and work with the contractors yourself on specific projects.
We do not accept compensation from anyone, including contractors or vendors, in exchange for our advice.
Why do coaches want to help?
Coaches are committed to doing what we can about climate change. We have all been through some of these home upgrades ourselves, and we remember how confusing it was. We’ve also made mistakes that we can help you avoid.

Remember that we will advise you to the best of our abilities, but YOU will be making the final decisions. Therefore, we will ask you to sign a liability waiver here.

Get started right away
A great way to start is by spending a few minutes filling out the Personal Electrification Planner from Rewiring America here.
Your coach will ask you to do this. There is a lot of good information, including IRA tax credits and rebate information. Filling it out will help you refine your ideas about what you want to tackle first, second, and third.
